Want to be a Maker?

On behalf of Edventure Children’s Museum, we would like to reach out to you to request your participation in our 6th annual Columbia Maker Faire on May 19th. The event will take place at 211 Gervais Street from 9:00-3:00. The aim of Maker Faire is to entertain, inform, connect and grow this community.

We plan to bring together artisans, technicians, programmers, coders, crafters, performers, and those with imaginations to invent. We believe that a culture of “making” empowers our community and creates powerful “lightening-bolts” of creative problem solving and collaboration that can only lead to a better community. Not sure if this is the correct event for you? Our Makers range from tech enthusiasts to crafters to homesteaders to scientists to garage tinkerers. They are of all ages and backgrounds.

Historically, we have featured over 35 makers on this day with attendance averaging 1,000 individuals from the midlands area and beyond. Being a maker at this event would increase your visibility in the community, provide you with an opportunity to sell merchandise, and allow you to inspire our young learners through interactive hands-on activities.

If you like the exchange with local South Carolinians and would like to sell your merchandise while engaging in conversation about the Maker Movement, then you can sign up for a vendor booth on the form.  If you would like to present or lead a workshop during a set time, please choose workshop leader on the form below. DEADLINE EXTENDED!
